Appropriate school
Posted on October 22, 2009, by admin, under Education.
I met my friend the other day and we really had a long chat. It has been a while since the last time we saw each other. We talked about his son most of the time. How time flies so fast, I never realized that by next year his son will be in high school. At first my friend got worried as to what school he will enroll his son because he was diagnose with ADHD, although his condition has been very manageable for the past years and has shown a lot of improvement. He told me that while he was surfing the net, he was redirected to boarding school for teens site which accepts students like his son and other academic underachievers. And he was so happy that he discovered Oak Creek Ranch School which provides boys boarding school. He also learned that the boarding school has been in the business for thirty-seven years and it serves as his assurance for his son’s welfare. He also believes with the school’s program which does not only help the teens to achieve their academic goals but at the same time gain valuable social and interpersonal skills. I really admire my friend because despite his son’s condition he never fails to lead him to success.

How to spend my book allowance
Posted on September 1, 2009, by admin, under Education.
One of the perks I’m getting from my employer is the book allowance. Though it could be just a small amount, it could also definitely help my career grow faster than I would expect. They always say and remind us to spend it wisely and now, since I am gearing towards IT project management, I opt to spend it to Project Management books by the most popular authors. It’s a treasure I’d surely keep.

A good choice of school
Posted on August 25, 2009, by admin, under Education.
Our family just moved in to Arizona. Glad I have a good friend there who has been a great help for me. She helped me out in every detail until I get used to the place. I think that the adjustment period would take a little bit longer since we are really new to the place. But I believe that with the help of my friend, we would be able to cope up with all the changes. There are still a lot of things to unpack but the children need to catch up for the school season. So now I am busy working on the school errands of my children. My friend recommended the phoenix charter school. And since her children are also studying there they could help my children as well to adjust easily with the new environment. She said that I just need to visit their site and fill-out the phoenix charter school enrollment form to get started. So I did right away. And as I go through their site I learned more about the phoenix elementary charter school. Their sets of curriculum are great. I am confident that my children would definitely improve more on their educational and social developments.

Back in our college days, my friends and I have been planning to pursue master of business administration. Fortunately, right after graduation all of us got our dream job. From there on, we have been busy from work and eventually had our own family. One time, when we had our get together, we’ve talked about our postponed plan of taking up MBA. We actually decided to pursue it, however, our busy schedule somehow finding it hard for us to balance everything. When we heard that there are Online Degrees being offered in most universities, we started searching that offers such, we found this Western Internaitonal University. They offer several Degree Programs that we could choose from based on our interests, convenient class schedules, which we find really applicable to us, online learning, wherein we can actually talk and communicate with our classmates and instructor live or just in case we can as well watch recorded classes. This method makes learning more fun and effective. We believe it is going to be an extraordinary experience for us and at the same time would take us to another level in our profession because of the knowledge and skills that we will gain from our classes.

Upgrade yourself through online education
Posted on June 27, 2009, by admin, under Education.
I once worked in a telecoms company with an Asian counterpart. There, I met several electronic and communications engineer graduates together with this Asian friend of mine. As he was also doing the same job scope as these engineers, I assumed that he was also a graduate of the same course as they are. I never bothered asking until I get to see his job title and it was way below these other engineers in their department. So I started wondering why he is doing the exact same tasks as the other engineers and yet having a lower job title and most probably lower pay rate. As it might be offending to ask him directly, I fished for information with other engineers working with him. There I learned that he is not a degree holder and hence cannot be given the same title as the other engineers. As a concerned friend, I talked to him and gave some advice as to how he can earn his degree while not giving up the job and soon get promoted as the other engineers. I suggested to him to visit the website of Western International University and check their Degree Programs. Most probably there will be Online Degrees listed there which will fit to gain his degree. I’m just hoping that he takes my advice as I know he’s got the ability to be a true blue engineer.
