My Running Habit

I love running. I have been running in marathons for two years now. I run three times a week to maintain my good health. I encourage people who are just starting to try going to running trails where there is a nice view. And when the weather does not permit, I go to the gym to use the ever-reliable treadmills. I have been feeling good for the longest time, and I attribute it to my running. That’s why I always encourage people to do the same.

What is a ball valve?

A ball valve, one sort of quarter turn valve, is sort of literally a ball placed in a passageway through which liquid flows. The ball has a hole through it, by which the valve opens and closes. When the ball is positioned so that the hole runs the same direction as the passageway, the fluid simply flows through the hole, and the valve is open. However , when the ball is positioned so the hole is at right angles to the passage way, the fluid can’t pass thru, and the valve is closed. The ball is controlled from outside the valve, regularly with a handle that’s turned 90 degrees, or 1 / 4 turn, backwards and forwards to open and close the valve.
