Propelling business growth through a website
Posted on June 24, 2010, by admin, under Website.
A business has to grow or it might as well end becoming such. That was the principle I learned from my professor back in college. I took that to heart. As a businesswoman, I constantly explore ways on how to ensure the growth of my business. In one business convention I attended, one brilliant speaker explained to us the importance of having a website for our business. According to her, having a website is one’s ticket to business growth. It was an epiphany for me since I did not have, at that time, a website for my business. It was also a mind-altering experience since at that time my business was experiencing troubles. I asked my business partner to help me look for a website builder so we could develop a business website. Being more technologically advanced, he was able to create a proposal design for our business website. After collectively editing the look of our business website, we made use of a free website creator. Now that we have a website, I can verily say that our business is steadily growing. It may take less than a few months for our business to exponentially grow. That’s how fast a website can do in terms of business growth.

All about Social Bookmarking
Posted on January 24, 2009, by admin, under Website.
Social bookmarking is a way for internet users to store, classify, share, and search Internet bookmarks. In 2005 and 2006, social bookmarking sites, such as del.icio.us, Diigo, Furl, Ma.gnolia, Netvouz, and StumbleUpon became popular. Sites like reddit, Digg, Newsvine, and the new Netscape portal apply social bookmarking to news items. IBM even announced plans to enter the social software market this year.
